Beginners luck !

Looking at my first ever blog which was done purely to test out my newly created blog account I think I should quit whilst I’m ahead.

Sue Smith trains just 2 miles over the moors from me but that wasnt the only reason I had a modest interest in Aurora’s Encore last Saturday. He did have the required form if you looked really hard – honest.

Having enjoyed  a less than profitable Cheltenham and Aintree (though I’ve had worse) the Grand National proved a very welcome and (slightly) unexpected bonus.

Its the boost it gives to your enthisiasm and confidence it gives you that’s woth more than any financial gain in my book.

That said I was very popular with my wife and daughter on Saturday night!
