Becher Chase Day

My pick in today’s Becher Chase is Alan King’s 8 year old Walk On each way. I am also having a small interest in Planet of Sound in what is clearly a fiercely competitive and open renewal.

In the Great Sefton I’m sticking with my locally trained horse Gansey to go one better than last year in what proved a great year for jockey Ryan Mania at Aintree.

Elsewhere Upswing and Court By Surprise, Lookout Mountain and Kodicil look worthy of each way interest at Sandown, Chepstow and Wetherby respectively.

Gunner Fifteen and Tara Road both at Chepstow look solid bets at understandably much shorter odds
