Ayr Scottish Grand National selections

Godsmejudge was an impressive winner for this blog 12 months ago. He’s not had a great season so far and missed Aintree last week as his trainer said he wasn’t quite ready. Will a week make much difference? I’m reluctantly going to desert him here.

Sue Smith has gone close in this before and Lackamon’s win in the Durham National last Spring gives him an each way chance here.

Of the leading fancies Roalco De Farges was impressive last time and there may be more to come.  Whilst Sam Winner looks an ideal sort for this 4 miles having run admirably in several decent novice chases this season.

Selections –
Roalco De Farges 3pts e/w 11/1 Betfred
Sam Winner 2pts e/w 11/1 Corals
Lackamon 1pt e/w 25/1 Corals

Elsewhere –

3.15 A Upsilon Bleu
4.25 A Vendor
5.00 A Scotswell

0.25pt e/w patent

3.30 N Sweet Lightening 14/1 1pt e/w Hills

2.55 Berkshire 8/1 1pt e/w Hills
