Chepstow and Hexham preview

Today is traditionally seen as the start of the jumps season proper and there’s no doubt that the quality of the runners at Chepstow today  reflects that.

Barry Geraghty has some interesting rides courtesy of APs absence and both Relentless Dancer and Monkey Kingdom are worth an interest against better fancied rivals. Boondooma looks capable of winning the 4.55, whilst in the following 3 mile chase The Italian Yob and Handy Andy are my two selections.

Up at Hexham Lucinda Russell could have the proverbial field day with Uisge Beatha and Shine a Diamond of particular interest. My nap is Malcolm Jefferson’s Coozan George in the 5.45.

It’s interesting that Noel Fehily is at Hexham for just 2 rides including Attentive De Sivola
who is well bred but yet to deliver.
