Sprinter Sacre worth laying for me

Opinions are divided on whether Sprinter Sacre’s run at Ascot on Saturday was promise of things to come or a sign he is now a mere mortal.

Typically running second to Dodging Bullets after over a year off the track would be judged as a highly satisfactory return. But the niggling feeling is that when push comes to shove he will be found wanting remains.

For me I will be looking to lay him for the Champion Chase but like most will be happy to be proved wrong by a horse who has shown exceptional ability in the past.
