Third time lucky for The New One

I’m on record as saying that much as I admire The New One I didn’t think he was destined to win a Champion hurdle. But then Faugheen was pulled out and suddenly it looks wide ooen. Connections have remained bullish about his chances and I think he looks a solid each way bet to make it 3rd time lucky .

Aloomomo has improved rapidly this season and was mighty impressive when winning at Newbury. He’s a strong fancy to take the novice handicap chase at 5.30.

Southfield Royale should relish the 4 Mile trip in the 4.50 whilst stable companions Caroles Destrier and The Young Master are worth an interest in the 3 Mile handicap chase at 2.50.
