It’s Charlie Hall day where the outcome of the feature event hinges on Cue Card being as good as he was last year. All the vibes from connections are that he is and if so he should see off some ole rivals and young pretenders. 

The bet365 hurdle is by contrast wide open with at least 6 of the 7 runners not easy to dismiss. Ballyoptic is still progressive however and may well justify favouritism and cement his World Hurdle credentials.

Holly Bush Henry is a strong fancy to make a winning chase debut in the opener.
